FERLAND ENGINEERING EDUCATION AND DESIGN CENTER AT UMAINE ORONO | ORONO, ME
In this project, Lockheed Architectural Solutions, Inc. technicians installed various Kawneer products, including storefronts, curtain walls, entrances, doors, and windows. The Lockheed team also provided all of the glazing and façade panels. One interesting aspect of this project was that the system used for the penthouse allows the louvers to be concealed within the exterior panels, hiding them from view and providing a seamless appearance. This new engineering building is a focal point of the UMaine campus, and even houses the Campus Welcome and STEM Outreach facilities. This project marks the first of many Lockheed Architectural Solutions, Inc. projects in the great state of Maine.
