MBTA UNIVERSITY PARK PARKING GARAGE | DEDHAM, MA
This renovation project included egress upgrades to the MBTA Route 128 Garage, a four-story structure with a structural steel framing system, and precast concrete double tee floors. Lockheed Architectural Solutions, Inc. was contracted to install new curtain wall frames around the new exterior staircases at the University AVE. Route 128 parking garage. The curtain walls are located a mere 30’ from the train tracks and the high voltage wires that operate the trains. Because of this added safety concern, all Lockheed Architectural Solutions, Inc. employees tasked with working on this project had to pass several safety courses provided by both Amtrak and the MBTA.
