This school suffered a fire and was eventually funded for an addition and renovation that was down to the structural steel. Lockheed Architectural Solutions, Inc.’s scope was a storefront, curtainwall and sunshade installation. This building had a complete/unique sunshading system that was mounted horizontally and vertically to control the travel of sunlight throughout the day. Lightshelves on the interior of building were also added to deflect light that came into the building and be used as space lighting.
INSTALLED COMPONENTS INCLUDED:
- EFCO D500 and D518 Doors installed in EFCO 402 and 403 Storefront systems
- EFCO Series 2700 Project Out windows and EFCO 5600 Series Curtainwall utilized throughout the project
- Vertical and horizontal sunshades, along with interior Lightshelf units, supplied by Construction Specialties of Cranford, NJ
